Brigitte graduated with a Diploma of Physiotherapy in Ludwigshafen, Germany in 1988. An important focus of her training and practice was treating children and adults with Scoliosis (S" curvature of the spine). Brigitte moved to Canada in 1994 where she obtained her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). She began working in Victoria and the Cowichan Valley specializing mainly in Orthopedics. Since 1996 she has been integrating Acupuncture into her practice of Physiotherapy. She was certified through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1999.

Brigitte enjoys travel, hiking, skiing and biking, and is grateful for living on beautiful Vancouver Island. She still has strong ties to Germany and tries to visit there on a regular basis.
