Dave graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. In 1999 he started up Cowichan Valley Orthotics. Dave lived in the Cowichan Valley for eight years and now resides in Victoria, where he continues to work as a full time physiotherapist in the local hospitals.

Dave is married and has two lovely daughters. He enjoys mountain biking, sailing, motorcyle riding and camping with his family.
